Glimmersticks Review!

I absolutely love avon's glimmersticks. Anytime I wear makeup, it's usually my eye liner first, or even JUST eyeliner. Black is my normal wear. I don't really care for brown eyeliner. I like simple black to match my eyelashes and make it look more natural.

Avon's original glimmersticks are nice. There are a few different colors, but I'm going to review the black, which is called blackest black.

They come in nice skinny sticks that can easily go with you for touch ups. They have a twisting feature, which means no sharpening! You just twist it up as long as you need, use, twist down and put the lid on!

The color is definitely true to it's word. It's blackest black.

It's easy to apply, whether you put eyeliner below the lashes, or on the eyelid ledge. Once on, it looks great. If you smudge it, usually you can easily just rub it off with a finger, but it may need some water or makeup remover. I definitely love it.

Glimmersticks also come in ones called Glimmersticks Diamonds. They are eye liners that are sparkly! I have the blue one which is called twilight sparkle. They come in a few bright cute colors!

These also come in skinny sticks that are easy to go anywhere with. They also have the same twist up feature which means no sharpening! I like that point!

This color is more of a dark blue with sparkles. I find it very pretty. It's definitely not an everyday wear for me, because it's too flashy, but when I wear some blue clothes or feel like having a little sparkle, I'll wear the blue one!

The glimmersticks diamonds are a little thicker than the original glimmersticks, and I think that's because of the glitter. This makes it slightly harder (for me anyways), to apply it without messing up, because you're having to push harder to get it to work. It's easier to apply under the lashes than it is to apply on the eye lid ledge. I also feel a little more comfortable putting it below the lashes so I keep the glitter from getting in my eye. The glimmersticks diamonds are also a littler harder to wash off. I only use water though, so if you have a makeup remover, you may have an easier time.

Other than the original glimmersticks and the glimmersticks diamonds, there are other versions. There are waterproof glimmersticks, there are glimmersticks lip liners, brow liners, liquid glide eye liners and more. I prefer the original or the waterproof over any, but I also enjoy the diamonds. I would like to try the liquid glide ones, but I don't really use brow liners or lip liners. Those you will have to try out on your own!

The glimmersticks run about $7 regular price, but there are often sales on them. The current sale on them for this campaign, campaign 15 2011, is $2.99! That's a steal! If you want to purchse the glimmersticks or anything else avon, visit the link to the right to visit my store and purchase whatever you want!

I apologize if the pictures aren't very good. I'm still getting used to reviewing and getting good pictures. Tips are appreciated!

PS, this is my first online avon review, so please let me know what you didn't care about, what you would have liked to know, etc, so I can fix my reviews in the future!
